Teaching and Training 

19 Beaumont Street is an official training practice and we often have doctors in training for general practice. These are known as GP Specialty Trainees or ‘GP Registrars’. These doctors are fully registered doctors who have undergone training in hospital and are key members of the team.

Medical students from Oxford University are also attached to the practice for short periods from time to time. Students will always be supervised by a registered doctor.

If another doctor or student is ‘sitting in’ with your doctor you will be told when you arrive for your appointment. If you would prefer not to have an observer sitting in please let reception know and the observer will leave the room for your appointment. This will not affect your treatment in any way.
