Amazing care

Once again the doctors and reception staff at 19 Beaumont St were so incredibly responsive and helpful in helping us to deal with a difficult medical issue, in these difficult times. They are always so helpful, caring and diligent every time we have any interaction with them whether it is in person or on the phone. We feel very lucky to have such great doctors!

Compassionate and professional treatment

I have recently had, and am now in the slow process of recovering from, serious illness with Covid-19. Over the past 4 weeks during this period of lockdown since I became unwell, I have had four telephone consultations so far with different duty GPs at the practice, seeking support, advice and reassurance. I have spoken with a range of receptionists to book these call-backs. Without exception, every staff member I've spoken with has been patient, empathetic, compassionate and professional in how they have spoken to me and treated me as an individual. I am enormously grateful to, and appreciative of, all the staff at the practice for continuing to work faithfully during this challenging time. The receptionists I've spoken with could not have been kinder, or more patient or empathetic. It made such a difference in making me feel listened to and cared about as an individual, especially when they still must have had long queues of other people to speak with each time after getting off the phone with me. The four duty doctors who have later phoned me back have been equally as patient and empathetic. My phone consultations with them have been detailed and thorough, and I've never once felt rushed, despite how busy they surely must be. I can't put into words what a difference the supportive and sympathetic way in which I have been treated has made to my mental health throughout this scary time, and the increased confidence it has given me to keep getting in touch as I need to. I deeply value the compassion as well as the professionalism, especially as someone who struggles with anxiety, depression and low self-esteem as well. The supportive attitude of the whole GP practice team has truly been a Godsend. I can't praise or rate them highly enough.

Exellent practice

I've been with this practice since 1981 when we moved to Oxford. It has cared for our family through many illnesses, the birth of two children and most recently, the birth of our first grandchild. The service and support is amazing, from the GPs, nurses, midwives and reception staff. The triage system for appointments means we have never failed to get an urgent appointment when necessary. The nurse practitioners and resident pharmacist are knowledgeable and kind. I find it hard to recognise the practice in some of the negative comments here as we think you are brilliant. Thank you

Outstanding practice!

Everybody I have ever dealt with at this practice is always friendly, serious, willing to listen and treats me like an intelligent human being.
